Game Night — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Game Night (“Game Night”, “the app”, “we”, “us”),
a party-game hub, handles your information. We designed Game Night to be privacy-friendly: the
core games are fully playable as a guest, offline, without an account. By using Game Night you
agree to the practices described below.
1. Play without an account
You can play Game Night without signing in. In guest mode the games run locally on your device and
we do not collect personal information about you. Creating an account is optional and unlocks
cloud sync, game history, and premium features.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to provide the features you use:

Account information. If you sign in with Email, Apple, or Google, we receive
an account identifier and (depending on the method) your email address. Authentication is
handled by our backend provider, Supabase. We use Sign in with Apple’s private-relay email
when you choose to hide your address.

Your content. When signed in, the packs you create with the AI generator and
your game history are stored in your account so they sync across devices.

Purchase information. If you buy a subscription or credit pack, our payments
provider, RevenueCat, processes the transaction and stores your subscription status and
transaction identifiers. We never receive or store your full payment-card details — those are
handled entirely by Apple.

AI pack topics. When you use the “make any pack” feature, the topic text you
enter is sent to our server and to Anthropic (the Claude API) to generate the pack. Don’t
include personal or sensitive information in pack topics.

Notifications. If you opt in to reminders, they are scheduled locally on your
device. We do not collect a push token or send remote notifications.

Language & settings. Your chosen language and app preferences are stored
locally on your device.
3. Camera and the reaction reel
Game Night includes an optional “reaction reel” that uses your device’s front camera
to record the final few seconds of a round so you can play it back and share it. Key points:
- The camera is used only while a game is in progress, with your permission.
- Reaction clips are kept on your device for the current session only and are
not uploaded to our servers.
- The recording captures video only — no microphone audio is recorded.
- A clip leaves your device only if you choose to save it to your photo library or
share it using your device’s standard share sheet.
4. How we use information
- To provide and operate the games and their features.
- To authenticate you and sync your content across devices.
- To process and verify subscriptions and credit purchases.
- To generate custom packs you request through the AI feature.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Service providers
We rely on the following processors, who handle data on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication and database storage (accounts, custom packs, game history).
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management.
- Apple — App Store payments and, if used, Sign in with Apple.
- Google — if you choose Google sign-in.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — generating AI packs from the topic you enter.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.
6. Data retention
Account data and your synced content are retained while your account is active. Reaction clips
are session-only and are discarded when you leave the game (unless you saved them yourself). You
can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your rights”).
7. Children’s privacy
Game Night is rated 12+ and is not directed to children under 13. Some content is intended for
teens and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Account creation
and purchases are intended to be performed by an adult or with adult consent. If you believe a
child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your
personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, or to request
deletion of your account, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable
time.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we
rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated”
date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
