Our Sourcing Policy
Box art is the copyright of the publisher and the artist who made it. We use a game image only where one of the following is true:
- It is our own photograph of a copy we own.
- We have written permission from the publisher.
- The publisher provides the asset for this kind of use under stated terms.
Everything else stays a placeholder until one of those is true. We do not source artwork from BoardGameGeek: it hosts user-uploaded images and does not hold the rights to the artwork, so crediting BGG would credit the wrong party.
