Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to Glimt, the couples conversation app published by Fjord Labs (the “App”). Glimt is built to be private by design: your conversations happen between you and your partner, off the screen. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third-party marketers, and we collect only what the App needs to work.

Works Without an Account

You can use all of Glimt without creating an account. In that case your favorites, deck progress, streak, and settings are stored only on your device and never leave it. The question decks themselves are bundled inside the App, so it works fully offline.

What We Collect (only if you sign in)

• Account information. When you sign in, we store the account identifier provided by your chosen sign-in method (Sign in with Apple or Google). Authentication is handled securely through Supabase.
• Your backup. Signing in backs up your favorites, deck progress, and streak so you can restore them on a new device. We never store your answers or conversations — the App doesn't record them at all.

We do not collect data for advertising, tracking, or profiling, and the App contains no analytics SDKs.

Shared Account Across Fjord Apps

Glimt uses the shared Fjord Apps authentication system, so one account signs you in to any of our apps. Your account identity is shared across the apps, but your Glimt data is used only to operate Glimt for you.

Purchases

Glimt Pro is a monthly or annual subscription. Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to associate your subscription with your account so it can be restored on any device.

Notifications

The optional daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It requires your permission, never leaves your phone, and can be turned off anytime in Settings.

Data Storage and Security

Backup data is stored using Supabase, which provides secure, industry-standard infrastructure for authentication and database storage. Access controls ensure only your account can read and write your data.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your backup for as long as you maintain an account. You can delete all of your Glimt data at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete account & data) — this permanently removes your favorites, progress, and streak from our servers. Because one Fjord account works across all our apps, the shared sign-in identity itself is kept so your other Fjord apps keep working; if you would like the shared account erased entirely, email us and we will remove it.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for people in a relationship and is rated 12+. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
